Ok, this doesn%26#39;t require you to install anything, (unless you don%26#39;t have iTunes...) Open up iTunes. Now click on Edit, then prefrences. Leave it there, now connect your iPod to the computer. Click on My Computer, and double click on your ipod. Click on tools, folder options, go to the view tab and select Show hidden files and folders, and click ok. Click on Music. All of your music is here, drag and drop your files into another folder, (this won%26#39;t delete the files on your iPod) and now use the safely remove hardware in your tray to remove the Do Not Disconnect screen. And unplug your iPod. Now exit itunes, and you are done! Plug your iPod up and drag the songs from your iPod music folder into your Music library on iTunes and drop it on top of the word Music. It should be there then Use your USB chord...Connect your USB chord to your I-pod...then connect it to the USB slot in the computer...a message should show up saying if you wanna listen to the music,show the files,or watch the videos...click on listen to music...then save the music files on your computer and you can listen to the music without having to connect your I-pod! you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer...see http://www.ipodtocomputer.net for help..get ipod to computer transfer, it%26#39;s a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.
