How do you fix an ipod nano that does not power on?

the ipod does not power on. does anyone know a website that has a step by step guide that tells me how to fix it orcould someone tell me how to fix this by myself? thanks.

Try using ipod updater (in Start -%26gt; Programs -%26gt; iPod -%26gt; iPod Updater. This will restore your iPod to it%26#39;s factory settings (beware, it will erase all your music from the iPod, but not from the iTunes program on the computer itself), and then you can reload all your songs once it%26#39;s restored. If you just got it the lock might be on.



If the warranty just expired then the battery might be bad. Rechargeable batteries like that crystallize after awhile. Check out the sites below... apple.com if its the battery idk but what you can try is holding down the menu and middle button at the same time until the apple shows up on the screen. it worked 4 me so...
