Ok, so my Computer recently crashed. I am over at my friends house and i have downloaded a few songs to his iTunes that i want to put onto my iPod. How do i do this without erasing my iPod songs. When i plug in my iPod iTunes doesn%26#39;t do anything. It doesn%26#39;t start to sync them (and i don%26#39;t want it to sync them) but i do want these like 12 songs onto my iPod. .how do i do it?
Answers:
Go into the settings on the iTunes account you are transferring songs from (i.e. your friends computer). Make sure the settings are turned to manual settings instead of the automatically sync iPod option. That way it won%26#39;t sync the iPod with the iTunes library.. Then you can manually add or remove whatever songs you want. use idump its a program that allows you transfer song from an ipod to computer. There is another program called EphPod, that allows you to dump songs onto the computer from your iPod. I don%26#39;t know where to get it though, someone gave it to me off a jump drive. As long as His Itunes preferences is not set up to auto sync then you quite simply plug in your I-pod and copy over the music like you would on your own computer. If his is set up to autosync then you%26#39;ll lose all your music, but he can turn that feature off for you. I just came across a site that sends you an iPod for free! I%26#39;m ordering mine right now, going for the black one :)
