How do I put songs on my iPod?

Using Window Media Player and i tunes. I just got my iPod and I need songs on it bad. And I can download pictures and Movies too. Help pleaseeeeeeeee!

Answers:

adding whole cds:

open itunes.

insert cd.

click import on the bottom.

and its in.

adding individual songs:

-- from the itunes music store: buy them and they%26#39;re automatically downloading to your music library along with free album artwork

-- from limewire: download and open up limewire. search for the songs with the highest audio quality then save it to an easily accesible folder on your local or external harddrive. open up itunes, go to file %26gt; add file (or folder) %26gt; select file/folder to add.

-- from windows media player: burn a cd of the songs from there. then import the cd back into itunes to be in mp3 format

then sync when done! you have to download itunes first download itunes first...you will download ur songs thru itunes...if u want a free one, download limewire or ares and search ur songs/videos there...after downloading it, add the songs/videos to itunes and then update ur ipod...same as pictures...add it to itunes then update ur ipod. At bit lengthy, but it%26#39;ll guide you to the right path.

Adding music onto iPods from Windows Media Player -- Not possible unless you change the iPod software, which can void the warranty and mess up your player.

Movies only work on the iPod video. Won%26#39;t work with the Nano or Shuffle. Pictures will work with any iPod but the shuffle. To add pictures of videos, just place the videos all into one single files, same with pictures. Then set that folder as default for photos / videos. When you sync, it will sync to your iPod as well.
