Got a new PC. I want to transfer my 4,000 songs onto the new computer with iTunes without losing the 4,000 songs. The new computer currently has 140 songs NOT on the iPod. What do I do to get the 4,000 songs in my new library?
Thanks so much!

first download this
(this only work if your ipod hard drive is enabled)
open ur ipod under my computer
drag this once downloaded to the ipod (under my computer)
then click the software (the one on the ipod)
all the songs will show up on a seperate page
then select them all and click to computer
they will be saved to were ever u tell them to
then just drag them to itunes once there are saved try winamp to sync your ipod.. Itunes is the worst software ever save them on a flash drive on your old computer, then just upload them again on your new pc There are plenty of ways to do this- discs, flash drives, emails- but the easiest and quickest, by far, will be to buy an external hard drive. You will then need to put all of your music on the EHD, let it transfer (it could take a little while, but you don%26#39;t have to hold its hand; you can leave and let it run), then transfer it onto your new comp (just into your music folder, again, this could take a little bit. Not too long because you don%26#39;t have very many songs, but I just transfered my 14,500 songs and all in all, it took about an hour. But I was on a Mac, which is better, so a retarded PC might take longer.) and then, finally, in iTunes, import all of those songs. you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer...see http://www.ipodtocomputer.net for help..it%26#39;s a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.
