How do i transfer tunes from my Ipod to a computer other than my own PC?

I downloaded i tunes onto my girlfriends PC but it will not let me upload my tunes from my ipod onto the pc as it says i cant have my ipod in sync with more than 1 i tunes. How can i get round this because i want to transfer these tunes onto the new pc, once i have done this i can then move them into the i tunes library and sync my i pod with the new i tunes.

The reason they dont let you do that is because they feel people would breach copyright laws with it!

Its really annoying isnt it? I bought a new computer and wantd to do the same as you move all my music from my ipod onto my new computer then I can sync it from that computer instead!

This should do the trick for you. Is completly free, and comes with a built in player. search and playlist creation service. So If you take it to a mates house and want to play some music but they dont have itunes, you can sue sharepod.

the home site has a video demo yeh, the reason why they do that is because they dont wanna get slammed with lawsuits. however, there are a couple of programs that hack into the ipod and bipass the protection it has on the music. your ipod has protection software built into it, so you need to have a kind of hackware to download music off the ipod. there are a few good ones out there you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer...see http://www.ipodtocomputer.net for help..get ipod to computer transfer, it%26#39;s a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.
