How do you get songs on from your ipod to your computer after erasing your hard drive?

when i first installed itunes and plugged in my ipod it said erase and sync or cancel that was it i pressed cancel.

You%26#39;ll need a program to help you, because iTunes does not have a feature to do this (This has to do with the contract Apple had to sign to get the recording industry to agree to sell music on the iTunes music store and such)

Try doing a search for ipod on versiontracker.com. There are a LOT of programs that can do what you ask.
