How do you finalize a disc from a DVD recorder?

i have a magnavox mwr10d6 dvd player/ recorder and have lost the owners manual...how do you finalize a disc?

when you have recorded a disc on any machine you will have to finalize it for playback on other machines-at the end of the recording the magnavox will (or should) give you this option-choose it and the machine will finalize the disc for you. although i know the name i am not farmiliar with magnavox machines (my own is a panasonic) but some machines require you to go into a menu before this happens. That%26#39;s a function of the burning software, not the burner. ~

It usually happens automatically. It is aborted with multi sessions. This function should be in the menu somewhere. I%26#39;m sorry, I did not find a manual for your machine.

You could just use DVD+RW discs. They do not require finalizing and will not finalize if that is your question.

Only DVD+R discs must be finalized on your machine so that they can play on any DVD player.

Your machine does not record on DVD-R or DVD-RW discs.
