How do you put your Limewire songs on your Ipod?

I just got a brand new Pink iPod nano, and I%26#39;m not going to pay 99 cents per song. If I wanted 25 songs, I%26#39;d have to pay 25 dollars, and that%26#39;s just stupid since I%26#39;ve already payed about 200 dollars for the iPod in the first place. I have iTunes, and I have limewire, but when I try to drag the songs from the "shared" folder from limewire, it won%26#39;t let me. I tried making a new playlist, and putting the songs into the playlist, and then adding the playlist on my iPod, but that didn%26#39;t work either. Please help me! =]

Ok I will explain the best way I can.

You will need iTunes and Limewire and a USB connector for your iPod which I am sure you got. but you never know

Download a song of your choice and then open itunes. Go to file, add folder to library. After that a new window will open up. Click on My computer. Then on local disk C, Documents and setting next. Then All users and then there should be a file named shared. This works for me and how I get my music from limewire to itunes. If you need further assistance I would be happy to answer any questions via email. Save a playlist then upload it onto iTunes okay in itunes go to file, then add folder to library and find the shared folder and click it and there you go My daughter had the same problem. She had to download Java first but I don%26#39;t know if she can now or not, so if someone respnds to you I will read it and maybe it will help her. All songs from Lime Wire get sent to a folder. open I-Tunes and put all sings from folder to i-tunes (it should automaticly) if not just drag it. after that plug ipod in and they should sinq when you have your songs on the shared folder after you downloaded the music, you right click the song(s) and click open with and there should be an iTunes tab. Then you click open with iTunes and it should play on your iTunes music library Add the songs to a file from Limewire to your desktop then open itunes and go to file import and choose your folder then click import. Hope it all works out. I use musicmatch to add music to all of our mp3 players burn the songs off limewire onto a cd then put that cd back in and add it to itunes then you can hook up your ipod to it and import. everyone keeps saying make a folder, but the easiest way is to drag the songs from limewire into your itunes library and wallah! you got it, u didnt even have to make a folder, just highleight ever song you want and drag from your limwire and drop into the itunes libraby. Once you%26#39;ve downloaded the music to your computer, i find it easier to disable the lime wire player (go to tools, options, player, uncheck the box) and double click on the song (while its still in the lime wire downloading area at the bottom) it should automatically play in itunes. if not you%26#39;ll probably gonna have to go to the folder the songs were downloaded to on your hard drive, right click on the song and select open with itunes. hopefully that works. easiest way is to drag the song to where it says music LIBRARY not shared folder. Thats the way ive been doing it On limeware when you are looking at the library of what you have downloaded...click on the songs that you want to put on your Ipod. Then click on enclued(?) or it says something like that. It will be moved from the top of the page to the bottom half of the page. Then if you look at the bottom there is a little icon that looks like a floppy disk, you click on that to save the songs you want. It will then ask you where you want to save the songs. I always save in %26#39;my music%26#39; just name it what you want. Then once there you can click on the file to pull it up to windows video player. Once in windows video player you can transfer the songs to your ipod.

Hope this makes sense!
