I%26#39;ve figured out how to put songs onto someone elses Ipod
from my computer, but how do I go about taking songs off their
Ipod and putting them onto my computer?
Thanks in advance.

I think a lot of people may be misunderstanding your question.
For the sake of covering my behind, I%26#39;ll point out that sharing copyrighted music is illegal and you%26#39;re not supposed to do it. But since I can%26#39;t see what%26#39;s on your ipod, I%26#39;m going to assume you want to share uncopyrighted indie music...
In order to copy music off an ipod, you need a third party application, as iTunes does not allow you to pull music off the ipod, only erase or upload music to the ipod (they do this specifically to prevent the aforementioned sharing of copyrighted music). There are A LOT of programs that will do this.
A few that I%26#39;ve found for windows, though I haven%26#39;t necessarily tried them all:
iGadget ( http://www.ipodsoft.com/site/pmwiki.php?... )
YamiPod ( http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home... )
iPod2PC ( http://www.casicakes.com/ )
TuneJack ( http://www.softpedia.com/get/ipod-tools/... )
iRepo ( http://www.purpleghost.com/index.php?q=i... )
iPod-%26gt;Folder ( http://www.longfingers.com/ipodfolder/... )
If you use a mac, or just don%26#39;t like these programs for whatever reason, you can always do a search for "ipod" on versiontracker.com
