I already ripped all my music onto the computer via Windows Media Player and now I want to get it all on iTunes so that I can get it on my iPod.
Could I click "Add Folder to Library" and would it do what is necessary for the song to work on an iPod? Or do I have to click "import"?
Is there a faster way that all that to get 5.500 songs on iTunes?
Answers:
Put them All into One Folder And then go to file and click add folder to library . It depends on if the songs are still in aac or mp3 format. If they are in aac or mp3 format, great. go to my music folder, and drag all the songs into your itunes library. Then you%26#39;re set.
If they are in wma (or something like that) format, you will have to convert them all to mp3 or aac format, which can take a long time. "Add folder to library " would be the fastest. The Songs are probaly in your documents in the My music folder if you are using XP. Uncheck the ones you don%26#39;t want on your iPod. On Vista the folder with the music will be your user name then click on music. put into one folder and press import in the file part
