How do you download music onto a PSP?

do you use iTunes or something? I have iTunes but I guess i dont know how to put the music onto the psp. do you have to download a different thing?

plz helpp! i need to know before school starts because i want to listen to music on the bus. and im not getting an iPod yet so dont say get an iPod

I found an older article that gives you what you need to know to move music without installing any special software. It%26#39;s pretty easy to follow:
