How do you delete songs on your i pod and add new ones with i tunes?

okY well my dad just got a ipod and had my older brother put songs on it that he doesnt even like and wants to delete some and add new ones and my older brother isn`t down in town so i really need help so please help me

To delete songs you just click on the song. Then it should be highlighted in blue and hit delete on your keyboard. If you want to add new ones with iTune store, purchase the song and it will automatically be in your iTunes music. If you download from other sites, drag the music into iTunes music or whatever playlist you want. Plug in your iPod and it should automatically update.
