How do you convert DVDs onto your video iPod?

Answers:

For Mac, you can use Handbrake which is free, unfortunately there is no good free converter for windows.

iPod can only support mpeg4 video. You will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you to convert dvds and video into mp4 or h264 format, add them into itunes library, then sync to ipod, see http://www.dvd-to-ipod-converter.com/dvd... this detailed and unbiased comparison chart and reviews of the top 5 selling dvd to ipod video converters for help to get the right converter for you, also take a look at http://www.dvd-to-ipod-converter.com/cuc... this step by step guide convert DVDs and all kinds of videos like avi, mpeg etc to ipod using cucusoft...works like a charming for me. you download it on itunes you put the dvd in while on itunes and it will come up on the screen. try it... if it dosnt work u can email me about if u would like. First you need to remove the copy protection on the DVD before you can do any converting to a iPod-able format. There%26#39;s a really nice guide at http://www.videora.com/en-us/converter/g... that should ease you through the steps of the necessary programs needed to convert a DVD to an iPod-able format, as well as how to go about using the programs. Sorry Steve-O, ask me about almost anything but computers, systems or DVD conversions! I%26#39;m still in diapers when it comes to that stuff! Please try TubeHunter which converts video files or DVD movies onto iPOD/PSP/Zune.
